Codeable has really improved my self-esteem. I’ve never been much of a salesperson, and don’t typically do full builds. I am more of a problem solver and like to solve specific problems in a specific niche. I felt valued, not only because of the rate that I was being paid but also from the wide selection of projects that were exactly what I was looking for. I made more on the platform in a few months than I had the rest of the year. Even though I have years of experience, this was my first time running my own firm and wish I’d started here years ago. Such an amazing and supportive community.

Codeable is exactly what I’ve been looking for!

I got disillusioned working in corporate during the years of COVID, so I decided it was finally time to do contract/freelance work again. It was pretty overwhelming to figure out how to find work on my own since I’m extremely introverted and don’t enjoy the sales and marketing process that’s required to land gigs.

My goal with freelancing was to choose the projects I want to take on, own the work that I do (aka self-manage), and work when I want. Codeable has provided me with this ideal way of working, and I’ve made good money in my first 30 days on the platform!

They also have an awesome referral program, so I’m excited to use the Codeable application (ie “workrooms” and escrow system) to support my own clients. It’s so much better and safer than working through email and directly invoicing clients for payment! With Codeable, your personal address and contact information is kept between just you and Codeable, rather than every client you work with. It also helps simplify my income tax reporting in the US since I don’t need to expect so many 1099s.

I’m really excited to run my freelancing business fully on Codeable!

I can say that Codeable changed my life!
The platform to apply to the projects is really well constructed and well thought and we help each other.

There is a big community and the staff was always great in trying to help the developer feel comfortable and valuable.
