Three years after our first experimental event in Silicon Valley, WomenHack has reached a milestone: we now operate in over 100 cities across five continents. This growth reflects both the global demand for diversity in tech and the power of community to create change.
The Journey to 100
WomenHack started with a simple idea: create a space where talented women could connect with employers who genuinely valued them. The speed-interview format broke from traditional career fairs, putting candidates and companies on equal footing.
The response was immediate. Events sold out. Employers made hires. Candidates found opportunities. The model worked—and people wanted it in their cities.
“We started off from one experimental event,” recalls our team. “Now we’re in over 100 cities, across multiple continents, connecting thousands of women with opportunities they wouldn’t have found otherwise.”

Why This Growth Matters
For Candidates
Women in tech no longer need to relocate to major hubs to find opportunity. WomenHack brings employers to communities across the world.
For Employers
Global companies can now access diverse talent worldwide through a consistent, trusted platform. Local employers gain access to a network that elevates their visibility.
For the Industry
100 cities means 100 communities of women supporting each other. The network effects compound over time.
What We’ve Learned
The Model Translates
Speed interviews work in Silicon Valley and São Paulo, London and Singapore. The format transcends cultural and geographic boundaries.
Local Matters
While the format is consistent, each market has unique dynamics. We partner with local communities to ensure events serve local needs.
Community Is Everything
Events create connections, but community sustains them. Women who attend WomenHack become part of something bigger than job searching.
