Middle management did not up hold Scott’s belief of work time from any where.
Men were definitely paid more than women and had more advantage for advancement.
Still, it was one of the best places I’ve worked in this valley!

I worked at Sun for 10 years and what a wonderful 10 years it was. Scott McNealy started a comfortable way to work; no time clocks, no dress code, less micro management and more of a community. Everyone was considered an independent contributor, yet worked in teams to create and develop products and programs that made Sun so successful. Great company!
