I think the experience changes depends on what region you are based out of. For my region, it is definitely male dominated. I wish there was an effort to diversify the team.

I enjoyed my tenure at Checkpoint very much. I worked in the US HQ in Redwood Shores. The company has an Israeli culture – very direct, say what you think – and I liked and worked well in that environment. You always know where you stand.

As a woman director, I felt treated equally and fairly. At the time, Checkpoint did not pay particularly well, but that was for both men and women. There also was not a lot of career advancement, but it seemed equal for men and women and all races. I would recommend it to others. It should be noted my tenure was in the 2000-2005 range, so some time ago.

Might review might not be relevant anymore since I have been working there more than 10 years ago. Back then it was very supportive of women and other minorities, nice atmosphere and supportive management. The mobility within the company was impressive, you could get an assignment to a different team or even a role.
