The Wikimedia Foundation is the non-profit organization that supports and operates Wikipedia and many other free knowledge projects. All of our work is guided by our mission to share the sum of all knowledge with every person in the world. In collaboration with a network of chapters, the Foundation provides the essential infrastructure & an organizational framework for the support & development of multilingual wiki projects and other endeavors which serve this mission. Our Guiding Principles: -We support projects that are international in scope, and we aspire to reflect that internationalism in our own work -We believe that everyone in the world has a right to free access to information -Part of our job is to ensure that the freedom and independence of the projects is never compromised
Management was the source of most of the issues, poor leadership skills fostered inequality between the design and engineering jobs. My male manager was condescending in tone and speech and would try to do my work for me, very unsupportive.
