I have worked at TIBCO for awhile now. The main reason I have stayed at TIBCO is because the technology is interesting and there is always something new and different to learn and work on. However career advancement opportunities are minimal. There is not a single woman development engineering manager. Your chances of advancement are better in QA or tech pubs.
Your experience there will depend upon who your manager is. I have had a couple of good managers. I have also had a couple of managers who were good technically but horrible as managers.
You will find it hard to continue your education outside of the company as deadlines tend to be unrealistic and cut into your personal time. Education reimbursement is so minimal and has so many restrictions on it that I’ve never bothered to ask for it.
