As a positive aspect In the Lisbon Global Delivery Center, I felt very supported during my pregnancy and after my child was born. My manager gave me the opportunity to choose projects without the travel time and facilitated home office and flexible hours while I was breastfeeding. My Colleagues were very supportive as well.
Unfortunately, my progression and bonus were affected by the time I was in maternity leave, that was considered not productive time.

Required a LOT more spontaneous international travel (can you be in Germany Thursday?) and early morning calls (7a-9a) to do the job (and get ahead) than initially stated.
– This was tough for a mom of a 6month old returning to the workplace.
Career Advancement existed because there was a LOT of re-orgs and changes in focus. (2 in 9 months). However, those opportunities were given to people with personal relationships developed through international travel.
