Billions, maybe trillions of times a day _That's how often people around the world touch something made better by Qualcomm. It could be the smartphone in your pocket, the tablet on your coffee table, that wireless modem in your briefcase _ it could even be that navigation system in your car or that action camera strapped to your chest.Who is Qualcomm, and what do we do? We are engineers, scientists and business strategists. We are from many different countries and speak many different languages. We come from diverse cultures and have unique perspectives. Together, we focus on a single goal -invent mobile technology breakthroughs.We've been called dreamers, inventors, rebels, risk takers, pioneers and geeks. We embrace those labels because in many ways, they're true. We dream big. We invent bigger. And most importantly, we often do what many thought was impossible.
The benefits are great and it’s a great company to work for. But unfortunately, I was never in the right team where I could do well and so I never got the right opportunities, even though I tried changing teams and that backfired for me. But I have seen my other friends do very well in the company where they have been promoted for their skills.

I loved my years working at Qualcomm. The diverse population and the constant striving for excellence stimulated me to perform better. From the president of the company on down there was a commitment to the community as well as to the company, and the company was always trying to involve young people in the world of engineering.
Every day there was something new to learn. I felt very trusted as an employee and,as a result, was encouraged to take initiative in many areas. As a manager, it was easy to pass that trust on down. After retirement I really missed the intelligent and caring people with whom I worked.
I loved my time at Qualcomm. Both my husband and I were employed by Qualcomm (I had to recruit him after I l experienced the amazing culture at QC). My career grew by leaps and bounds during the years I worked there and opened me up to many opportunities that I might not have had elsewhere.
I miss working at this innovative place. I work in Biotech now right down the street and am a founder of a diagnostics company….every day I work to ensure our company embodies many of the attributes that I love about Qualcomm. It’s fun to drive through the campus and see the wonderful young diversified community that is the company. I cherish the friendships and mentorships that flourished as a result of working at Qualcomm.
