But armed with a more modern technology, the company develops, supplies, and supports interactive learning products for educators, including its ActivInspire software for creating interactive lessons and hardware such as wireless microphones, portable and classroom electronic displays, and handheld devices for students. It also runs an online community called Promethean Planet, in which teachers around the world share free resources and tips. Software training and technical support round out its services.
