This used to be a pretty good company. Things have changed dramatically in the last 24 months.

The company lacks diversity and women in real leadership positions. There is an old boys club at work and I have seen too many very qualified women let go in lieu of mediocre male employeeos.

Company leadership doesn’t seem focused on one mission – and it shows.

I would advise against taking a job here.

Omnicell was one of the worst places I have ever worked. My manager – a woman – refused to give me any challenging work, and it was definitely a ‘good ol’ boys’ network in upper management. I took a 30% cut in pay to work there; my previous company had closed down and I was desperate, but I would have been happy with the pay had I been given a chance to do the job I was hired to do.

Omnicell was one of the worst companies I have worked for In my career. A boys club mentality and they all have housewives. Which means no issue demanding weekend travel.
They only allow employees to take vacation over the July 4 th holiday and Christmas. Since Christmas is at the end of the fiscal year, you are expected to work during your vacation. But they require employees to “take it” to get it off the books.

When I worked at Omnicell it was still a very old school boys club. Not very flexible culture for a working mom. There were not many women in engineering – though a few managers. Hopefully it has changed.
