Great place to work! Very lean and diverse company. It is very supportive to employees snd also to the community. Base Pay is just average, but you can have the opportunity to earn a generous bonus base on performance.

I worked at MasterCard about 10 years ago but I worked there for several years, made a lot of great friends, learned a LOT and enjoyed the experience. They were definitely all about helping you set career goals and making sure you had the tools to meet them. it was a demanding job but I grew from it, made very good money with raises and bonuses every year and was also promoted several times. My manager at the time ended up getting demoted because of her verbal abuse and creating a hostile work environment which was one of the reasons I ended up leaving. Never the less, I believe MasterCard is an excellent company to work for, they care about employees and you will learn and advance with hard work.

  3. Equal Pay

    Career Advancement

    Supportive Culture

    Family Friendly

Mastercard are very understanding of family commitments with agile working policies if you require. There is a good diversity of gender and race and lots of different diversity networks which you can join, I recommend the women’s leadership network as they meet regularly and discuss a variety of topics including how to balance work/family commitments.

The downside is that it can be tough to advance in your career as they keep the company lean and senior roles are far and few at the moment. It is an American company and therefore they are big on networking and having a mentor and a sponsor. To fully advance at Mastercard you need the right supporters who can help get your name known and make sure you are on the career trajectory that you desire.
