IDEO is an amazing place for company culture, individualism and innovation. From dogs in the office every day to unbelievable company events, it is an incredible place to work and grow your network. Unfortunately, compensation is not very market consistent because of the high interest in working for such a creative firm, and advancement is VERY challenging, especially as a female, unless you get connected right away to the right people to help you grow. Advancement is not based on skill, output or talent but on connection, personality and popularity with management.
