Accomplished angel investor and entrepreneur, founder Martin-Luc Archambault launched AmpMe in September of 2015 with the goal of building a product that would bring the joy of social music to people all over the world.

We believe that music brings people together and can make the world a better place, so we're working hard to create the perfect portable sound system using devices you already have on hand wherever you go.

AmpMe works by allowing a host to sync with their friends’ devices. The Host controls the playlist, and is able to search for their favorite songs, artists and albums by connecting to the local music library, Youtube, Soundcloud or Spotify. Rather than rely on Bluetooth or Wi-Fi technology to connect devices together, AmpMe uses a server-centric proprietary audio fingerprinting technology to create perfect synchronization and works with your regular data plan or wifi network. Syncing starts automatically and, in seconds, you and your friends are surrounded by sound.
